38th Annual Watsonville Fly-In & Air Show 2002 Memorial Weekend, May 24-26, was the 38th annual Fly-In and Air Show that has been held at the Watsonville Airport since 1964. The Grand Champion at this show was George Dray with a fantastic looking 1954 Cessna 195B. Unfortunately, being local to my area, I have seen and photographed Drays plane at numerous events, thus I didn't take any pictures of it this time, so I don't have a picture of it on this page. I'll try to catch it at another show and post it then. As there are several hundred nice looking aircraft that attend this event each year, my film is also limited. I have posted just a few of the many fine aircraft that were here at this event. I try not to duplicate the aircraft pictures, so some of my previous Fly-In pages, have aircraft posted that were also at this Fly-In. All photographs were taken by Roger Cain (NC 148). |
