6th Annual TRARON Formation Clinic Sponsored by the Golden Gate Wing of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) at Castle Airport , Atwater, on May 16-18th 2003, approximately 45 aircraft participated on the day I visited, May 17. The majority of aircraft on the ramp were built by North American, and a few aircraft that also participated in the All Red Star event, returned for some more formation flying. This event was well organized (by Jim Booth) and although the weather started out rather gloomy and windy, it cleared up for a good afternoon of pictures.
