40th Annual Reno Air Races 2003 Held during September 11-14, at Stead Field Airport north of Reno, the air races ended with Dago Red, taking the win over Rare Bear, by about four seconds. As there are plenty of other sites covering the unlimited racers and the results, I decided to post some of the aircraft that entered the Rolls-Royce Heritage Trophy event, along with a number of our U. S. military aircraft that were on display. Some of the racers were new this year or had new paint schemes, so they have also been included. I hope you enjoy these.
