Aerial Gunnery Symposium 2004 Held on a sunny California day, March 13th worked out perfect for the Stockton Field Air Museum's first of a series of symposiums. While most of the spectators arrived by vehicle, there were a few fly-ins, including one of our members, Lou De Propris in a Cessna 172. The Moderated by organizer Taigh Ramey, the gunnery symposium covered the eras of aircraft from World War II through Viet Nam. Some of the speakers were Frank Taylor (B-29 & B-36), Wilbur Richardson (B-17), Herb Ross (P-38), and Tom Rouch (B-36 and B-52). Nick Veronico (who is our NorCal AAHS President) also helped to organize this event, along with displaying a number of his nose and tail turret sections. As always, if you have any additional information or corrections for these pictures, let me know. All photographs were taken by Roger Cain (NC 148). These photographs posted on 4-18-04 |
