Nevada County Airfest 2003 Friday July 11th aircraft began to arrive with a full house by Saturday morning, July 12th. This year's show was dedicated in honor of victory, and the brave soldiers and firefighters who sacrifice for the freedoms and safety that we enjoy today. This show was primarily a warbird flying event with lots of nice fly-bys. There were a few classic and experimentals on display, and the CDF put on a full firefighting demonstration by the Grass Valley Air Attack Base. Probably what will be the most memorable part of this show were the high-speed afterburning passes of Greg Forbes Saab Draken and Super Sabre.
