Flugtag San Francisco 2003 "Flugtag" (Fly Day in German) was hosted by the sports energy drink company Red Bull and was attended by an estimated crowd of 35,000 spectators. Held as a one-day event on October 25, the weather on this day in San Francisco was an unbelieveable 90 degrees, with perfect blue skies. This event was once again held on piers 30-32, just below the Bay Bridge, but this time they used the port on the north side of the docks. This year 33 teams made the cut and I have about two-thirds of them shown below. Several of the thumbs below have extra pictures on the page, along with text at the bottom of the page. Members present at this event that I know of were Dean and Samantha Stoker (NC 81), Tom and Julianne Northrop (NC 348) and Lou DePropris (NC 438). Let me know if I missed you.
