Colusa Old Time Fly-In 2003 Held on July 19th, at the Colusa County Airport in the heart of California's rice country, the 7th Annual Old Time Fly-In was once again a success. The majority of the visiting aircraft are locals and their friends, and a free breakfast is provided for everyone that flys in. Although this is a small event, it has a good turnout of aircraft and visitors. The day rounds off with a hamburger and salad lunch, and a raffle is held that almost guarantees that everyone goes home with a prize, ranging from rice, fruit, farm caps, or a glider ride. After lunch the air strip empties and the small group of volunteers that make this possible, clean up and head for home. I had the pleasure of flying to this event with William Conwell (NC 331) in his Beech T-34 Mentor; thank you Bill. All photographs were taken by Roger Cain (NC 148).
