Seaplane Splash-In 2002 During the weekend of September 27-29, Amphibious Seaplanes from around the Western U.S. converged on Clearlake for the Annual Seaplane Splash-In, sponsored by the newly formed Western Seaplane Pilots Asssociation (WSPA). This event has continued to operate annually in Lakeport, using the Natural High School playing Field for a parking area, or the docks of the Skylark Motel, which also helps to sponsor this event. There were more airplanes at this event than I have pictured here, as I was photographing from several different locations, which sometimes resulted in my missing a picture that I would have like to taken.
