The Society for Aviation History is growing and we've developed a want and wish list. You may have one of these items, or access to another, and what better home than the Society for Aviation History?

(new listing) Video Camera

The society is looking for a video recorder to tape our educational programs.

Video Committee !

The society is looking for one or two volunteers who have video recorders to tape our educational programs. The volunteer(s) should be able to, or have (see Andy Melomet), the tapes converted to DVD. In addition, we'd like the volunteer(s) to manage our lending library of meeting disks. Also, this person(s) will need to contact some of our members to obtain tapes of past meetings to be digitized and added to the library.

Lending Library

The society is searching for approximately 300-square feet of office space in the Bay Area to house our lending library - on a no-rent basis. We have accumulated a collection of more than 3,000 books and magazines and need space - near our member base - to house this collection. We also have the opportunity to pick up a number of new, recently published books if we they can go to a good home. If you know of space that's available please call the society.

Neatness Counts

-PURCHASED- We are also in need of a shrink-wrap machine. The society has a number of books, magazines, and videotapes we plan to use as door prizes and trivia prizes, and we'd like to preserve their appearance.
